The SKIF Jock folding knife is a representative of the new generation of Skif EDC knives created in 2022. A feature of the new Skif generation is the variety of variations, which differ in size (with a blade of 85 and 95 mm), as well as blade processing (SW and BSW).
The Jock model is characterized by the presence of a wide blade with high straight slopes, thanks to which its cutting qualities will be excellent.
The knife blade is made of 8Cr13Mov alloy steel, which has good anti-corrosion properties and is easy to sharpen.
Depending on the model, a Stonewash or Black Stonewash finish is used to protect the blade from scuffs and scratches.
The knife is opened using a pin or a flipper, which creates a kind of stop for the hand, which will be useful during a power piercing. Thanks to the ball bearing system, the blade exit is smooth and does not require significant effort when opening.
The Liner-Lock lock is used as a locking mechanism. Thanks to the selection on the liner, the lock spring is easily felt, which makes the process of closing the knife more convenient.
The handle is made of G10 material, which is perfectly gripped even by a wet hand or wearing gloves. There is a two-position deep fit clip that can be removed and installed on the other side if necessary. The backspacer has a hole for a lanyard.
The SKIF Jock knife can be called a typical "cutter", which will be relevant in city conditions.
